I have seen so many ways to make letter emblems, so I went ahead and made one for our lovely sleeping courters! I had some extra fabric from our local thrift store, and some Elmer's fabric glue to get the job done. With a nicely cut letter H, it makes for a beautiful framed emblem! Great project for a Saturday:)

precious finds
Today was a beautiful day here in Glendive :) I just had to get out and walk around the nostalgic town. Of coarse I stopped at the infamous Attic (local thrift store) and found these precious items. a. Two lovely books, 25 cents each! They make for a great vintage look when stacked on a table or shelf. b. A lovely sunflower mug, 25 cents. Great for a spring morning coffee. c. Daisy Yellow mug 25 cents. There is something rewarding about finding things that speak to you, and express who you are. I feel these precious finds do just that :) Love on someone today :)

Record Deal

Now to the records! At the lovely Attic ( the sweetest thrift shop ever ) they had tons and tons of records for $0.25 each! When on a budget, these vintage record covers make for an awesome wall mural! I picked a few out that spoke to my taste, used small thin nails to pin them up, and went my merry way arranging! The end result was better than what I expected, and to think it all only cost $4.25!
Have a beautiful Saturday!

Good morning beautiful souls! It is a lovely crispy Saturday morning here in Glendive, MT. There is something so peaceful about weekend mornings, hanging out with your loved ones, relaxing, having no pressing demands. I thought some lovely photos of objects that are around our apartment would be fun to share. Photo props to my hubs ;) I spy: The Imitation Of Christ Book, Trev's slippers, basket of yarn, AE bead necklace, framed cloth wall art, Tozer book- The Knowledge of the Holy, framed record covers.

She likes pie

Today this was my mission. I put on some pandora and I whipped up 3 amazing banana cream pies for a super bowl party we're going to later on today. I think when they see that I made 3 pies instead of one, they will have to think, "she must like pie!" I realized banana cream pie could be for the most part pretty healthy if you use sugar free pudding, and cool whip. Oh yes! And, if you find a graham cracker pie crust instead of a flour based one. Today is a glorious day :) It is a beautiful 47 degrees out! I hope you have a wonderful, restful Sunday! GO PATRIOTS!
